Terrence Willson is currently the Acting Head of the Application Development Department at Thermulon, a position held since 2025. They previously worked as a Synthetic/Polymer Chemist at Johnson Matthey from 2023 to 2025 and as a Polymer Development Scientist at AFC Energy plc from 2022 to 2023. Willson earned their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Surrey in 2017 and subsequently served as a Research Fellow in Energy Materials Chemistry at the same institution from 2020 to 2022. They began their academic journey with an Access to Higher Education in Science from Farnborough College of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, graduating with First-class Honours from the University of Surrey in 2013. Terrence's research experience includes a role as a Research Fellow in Chemistry at Superdielectrics from 2019 to 2020.
