Precision cooking. No extra appliances.
PLUG IN. PLACE IN YOUR OVEN. PERFECT RESULTS.
Therva is a precision cooking device that turns the oven you already own into a multi-function low-temperature cooking system, no counter clutter, no extra appliance.
Slide it into your oven and Therva gives you precise, consistent control for low temperature cooking. From proofing croissants and sourdough, to dehydrating fruits and beef jerky, to a perfectly edge to edge medium rare steak, all from one compact device, without sacrificing precious countertop space.
We started Therva because modern kitchens are packed with single-purpose gadgets: a proofer, a dehydrator, a sous-vide wand, a slow cooker, each solving one problem and then sitting unused. Therva does all four, by utilizing your oven as an insulated box, while the device creates a precise low temperature environment.
Founded by a team of UC San Diego students, Therva is currently in prototype with a provisional patent filed and a growing group of early supporters. We're building toward our first production run.
