Alan Casey

Alan Casey has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Alan currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at theScore since 2022. Previously, they worked at Kijiji Canada from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles including Tech Lead / Engineering Manager, Staff Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Ericsson from 2013 to 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in projects related to self-organizing networks, modeling data transformation, and mediation of data. Alan also played a key role in the development of a dynamic user interface using a new Ericsson UI framework and contributed to a library used by teams throughout the company. Additionally, they trained developers in the use of the in-house Ericsson Test Automation Framework, helping them reduce the run time of their automated test suites.

Alan Casey completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick. Alan then pursued further studies at Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computing with a specialization in Applied Software Technology.
