Janis Strauts

Janis Strauts has a diverse work experience in the risk and trading operations field, spanning over several companies. Janis is currently working as the Senior Risk and Trading Operations Manager at theScore since October 2022. Before that, they held the position of Head of Trading at LiveScore Group from May 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, Janis worked as the Sportsbook Trading and Risk Manager at LiveScore Group from October 2017 to November 2021. Janis also served as the Risk and Live Betting Manager at Enlabs from February 2016 to October 2017. Furthermore, they worked as the Head of Riga Live Trading Team at Parimatch from October 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Live Trader at Betsson from June 2011 to August 2013, and as a Live Trader at Betsafe from 2009 to June 2010. Janis began their career as a Flight Attendant at airBaltic from 2007 to 2009.

Janis Strauts attended the Grammar School of Nordic Languages from 1994 to 2006, where they obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education with a focus on math's and nature studies. Afterward, from 2006 to 2011, they enrolled at RISEBA University, where they pursued a degree in the European Business Studies program. Janis also obtained an additional qualification from the London Chamber of Commerce during their time at RISEBA University.
