Jermal Francis

Jermal Francis, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the fields of internal audit, risk advisory, operations coordination, and tax auditing. Jermal is currently employed as an Internal Audit Manager at theScore since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory at KPMG Canada from January 2020 to April 2023. Before that, they held positions at George Weston Limited, serving as a Senior Analyst in Internal Audit from October 2018 to January 2020, and as an Analyst in Internal Audit from March 2016 to October 2018. Jermal also worked as a Jr. Operations Coordinator at theScore, Inc. from September 2015 to February 2017. Jermal began their career as a Risk and Exposure Analyst at Moneris from September 2014 to March 2016, and as an Excise Tax Auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency from November 2011 to April 2012.

Jermal Francis, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Accounting at the University of Windsor. Jermal then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2022. In addition to their academic degrees, Jermal has also obtained the CIA certification from the IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors in November 2018.
