Laura Scanlan

Laura Scanlan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Laura is currently working as a QA Analyst at theScore. Prior to this, they held various roles at different companies and organizations, including a Referee and Intramural Staff at the University of Waterloo, a Software Tester at Mappedin, a QA Software Analyst at Entuitive Compliance, and a Quality Assurance Specialist at Brock Solutions. Laura has also gained experience as a QA Specialist, Co-op at Cambridge Global Payments, a Communications Assistant at Transformative Quantum Technologies, and a Software Tester, Co-op at Virtek Vision International. In addition, Laura has worked as a Software Developer, Co-op at The PEER Group Inc. and as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Co-op at The Peer Group. Throughout their roles, they have demonstrated skills such as creating and executing test cases, identifying flaws in design and development, maintaining tracking databases, developing and executing test plans, and providing training on QA processes and strategies.

Laura Scanlan attended Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute from 2013 to 2015, where they completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Waterloo in 2015 and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a degree in Systems Design Engineering.
