Roddy M.

Roddy M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Roddy began their career in 2015 as a General Counselor and Media Specialist at Camp Tioga, where they were responsible for the well-being of campers and running the Media Center.

In 2016, Roddy completed a 12-month internship as a Software Engineer at Citrix, where they worked on testing pre-release builds of their products. Roddy then continued their journey at Citrix as a Software Engineer I and later as a Software Engineer II, contributing to the development of their software.

Roddy joined Camp B'nai Brith of Montreal in 2017 as a Media Specialist for the duration of the summer camp. Roddy then transitioned to a role at Citrix before moving on to their next position.

From 2021 to 2022, Roddy worked as a Mobile Developer at Bleacher Report through REDspace Inc., where they played a key role in the app-wide redesign project and spearheaded the adoption of SwiftUI.

In 2022, Roddy joined theScore as a Mobile Developer, focusing on the Engagement and Wagering teams to enhance their betting and media apps. Roddy collaborated with stakeholders, led projects, and proactively identified and fixed bugs in the app.

Additionally, Roddy has pursued their passion for iOS app development as an Indie iOS Developer since 2014. Roddy has developed several production-ready applications for the iOS App Store, including the Classifier app.

Overall, Roddy M. has demonstrated a strong background in software development and has contributed to the success of various organizations and projects throughout their career.

Roddy M. completed their education in Computer Science at Sheffield Hallam University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Sleaford Joint Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Computing, Maths, and Politics at A-Level.

In addition to their academic achievements, Roddy has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became a Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) through Citrix. In 2019, they earned the certification of Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. Roddy also obtained the [PCAP-31-02] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming certification from the Python Institute in September 2019. Most recently, in June 2020, Roddy obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
