Gregor Preiss is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Theva Dünnschichttechnik GmbH, where they focus on establishing and expanding the first European series production for high-temperature superconductors. They previously served as Managing Director at Jakob Gruppe IPT Ionen- und Plasmatechnik GmbH, overseeing significant growth and technology implementation from 2006 to 2014. Gregor also held roles as an Interim Manager and Process Project Engineer, contributing to various high-tech industries including semiconductor technology and surface coatings. They earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Heidelberg between 1991 and 2001.
