Matthew Naylor

President & CEO at National WWI Museum & Memorial

Matthew Naylor, PhD has a long and varied work experience. From 1990 to 1996, they were a Denominational Executive for the Community of Christ. From 1996 to 2002, they were the Chair of the Board of Directors for Camp Quality Australia. From 2002 to 2011, they were the President and CEO of Outreach International. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Director of External Affairs/Advancement at The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. From 2013 to 2015, they were the President and CEO of the National WWI Museum and Memorial. During this same time, they also served as a Commissioner for the United States World War I Centennial Commission and as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy. From 2015 to the present, they have been an Adjunct Faculty member at Graceland University.

Matthew Naylor, PhD obtained their PhD in Health Sciences from Curtin University in 1994. Matthew then completed an MTH from the University of Sydney in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Sociology from Monash University in 1984. Matthew attended Granite Hills from 1980-1981 and Caulfield Grammar from 1976-1981.
