Ted Place has a long history of work experience. Ted began their career in 1999 as an Account Executive for Cedar Fair, LLP. In 2001, they moved to Hillcrest Ministries as the Assistant Director. In 2002, they began their work at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where they held various roles, including Director of Alumni Development, Executive Director of Alumni Development, and Assistant Vice President for Development. In 2013, they began their work at KCPT - Kansas City PBS, where they held the roles of Executive Director of Community Development, Chief Development Officer, and Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer. Ted is currently the Chief Development Officer at the National WWI Museum and Memorial, a position they have held since 2022.
Ted Place obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Broadcasting from Northwest Missouri State University in 1999. Prior to that, they attended Albany High School.
