Erik Neergaard has extensive work experience in the themed entertainment industry. Erik is currently serving as the Chief Creative Officer and Partner at THG since April 2022. Previously, they held the position of President and Chief Creative Officer at Themespace, a creative consultancy and design firm, where they worked on various projects including The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash and Jurassic World the Ride. Erik also worked as a Principal at Arc Thematic and as a Sr. Creative Consultant for Meraas Development at BRC Imagination Arts. In addition, they served as a Media Producer at Matilda Entertainment and as a Creative Director at The Hettema Group. Their earlier positions include Art Director/Creative Lead at BRC Imagination Arts, LEAD DESIGNER at Paramount Parks Inc., PRODUCER/CONCEPT DESIGNER at Claro Creative Studios, and LEAD DESIGNER at Contour Entertainment.
Erik Neergaard attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BFA degree in Theater and Film.
