Alan Baxter

Alan Baxter is an experienced professional in the food industry with a diverse background in technical and quality management roles. Alan has held positions at Dairy Crest from February 2006 to February 2008, serving as Site Technical Manager and progressing to Group Technical Manager. Subsequent roles included Head of Quality at Müller UK & Ireland Group (January 2016 - May 2017) and Senior Food Technologist at Marks and Spencer (April 2014 - January 2016). At Nice-Pak International, Alan held multiple leadership roles in quality and compliance from August 2020 to November 2022. Alan's career started at Long Clawson Dairy, where roles ranged from QC Technician to QA Manager over thirteen years. Currently, Alan serves as Head of Technical at THG, a position held since February 2025. Alan holds a BSc Hons in Food Science & Technology from The Nottingham Trent University, completed between 2000 and 2005.
