Debbie Brown

Debbie Brown is currently serving as the Director of Learning Engineering and Special Projects at THIA since February 2024. Prior to this role, Debbie held various positions at Eduworks Corporation from January 2011 to January 2025, including Director of Accounts, Senior Learning Engineer, and Solutions Architect. Debbie also contributed to the IEEE Computer Society Standards Activities Board as Vitality Chair in 2023 and served as Secretary from January 2007 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Sr. Research Associate at Mississippi State University from September 1997 to October 2010 and Secretary for the IEEE Computer Society Learning Technology Standards Committee from January 1998 to December 2005. Debbie holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology (2008-2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (1983-1987), both from Mississippi State University.
