Alberto Borque

Alberto Borque is the CEO of THIELMANN, a company within the Irestal Group that provides sustainable packaging, containers, and logistics solutions for industries including beverage, chemical, food, and pharma. They are responsible for overall company management and full P&L, with duties spanning strategy, M&A, financing, and business development. They have led THIELMANN since 2015 and previously held leadership roles at UCON GmbH (Operations Director, 2015–2017), Teka Industrial (International Industrial Manager, 2003–2013), and positions within the Teka Group (1998–2003), as well as Plant Manager at Portinox, S.A. (2013–2015). Their education includes an Engineering Degree (BEng/Machinenbau) in Industrial Organization from Universidad Zaragoza/Bremen (1991–1996), a Postgraduate Degree in Organizacion Industrial from Universidad de Zaragoza (1997–1998), a Business Administration Degree from UNED (1997–2003), and executive programs at IESE (PDD, 2012–2013), San Telmo (ADEL, 2025), and the Transform Tech Program at IMD (present).
