Cathrin Weinstein

Cathrin Weinstein, MD, MBA, serves as the Senior Vice President of International Business and Managing Director of Thieme USA, where responsibilities include overseeing Thieme's international operations in Brazil, India, and the United States, while also leading the U.S. subsidiary's service offerings and achieving significant EBT growth through operational improvements. Weinstein has previously held positions such as Head of Operations at the Thieme | Area9 joint venture, focusing on day-to-day operations and product launches, and played a key role in transforming medical textbook offerings at Avidanconsulting, LLC. Early career contributions to Thieme Medical Publishers included roles as Consulting Editor and Editorial Director, where innovative products for medical education were developed. Weinstein holds an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and an MD from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
