Francois Blom

Francois Blom is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Finance for Australia East at Thiess since January 2018, with previous roles including Asset Finance Operations Manager and Regional Finance Manager for NSW. Prior to Thiess, Francois held the position of Commercial Manager/Financial Manager at Keaton Energy Holdings Limited from October 2010 to December 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing finance operations, implementing financial controls, managing audits, and handling budgeting and risk management. Francois also worked as Financial Manager at Kaulani Civils, Assistant Financial Manager at Unitrans Warehousing and Distribution, and Owner Driver Accountant at Truckafrica. Earlier career experience includes serving as Audit and Accounting Manager at Fourie and Fouchee Chartered Accountants. Educational qualifications consist of an Honours Degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa and a Baccalaureus in Accounting Degree from the University of the Free State.
