Kat Boon

Kat Boon has extensive experience in mining operations training, with a career spanning over 19 years. Currently serving as Lead - Mining Operations Training (Global) at Thiess since April 2018, Kat has held several key roles including Global Mining Training Superintendent and Training Superintendent for Australia & Pacific. Prior to Thiess, Kat worked at Hastings Deering as a Caterpillar Instructor/Application Specialist and began a career at Golding Contractors Pty Ltd as a Mining Operations Trainer. Educational background includes training from Caterpillar University and completion of studies at Corinda State High School.
