Nicholas Murphy possesses extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the mining and construction sectors. Currently serving as Business Manager - Asset Services at Thiess since September 2017, Nicholas has previously held various positions including Project Manager, Asset Manager, and Senior Mechanical Engineer, with responsibilities including maintenance planning and engineering for Suncor Base Mine and Fort Hills operations. Prior to this, Nicholas worked at CPB Contractors as a Mechanical Engineer focused on the WestConnex M4 East project and at Thiess from 2011 to 2016 in maintenance planning and engineering roles, developing maintenance strategies and supporting reliability initiatives across multiple projects. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Deakin University.
