Peter Rule

Peter Rule is an experienced operations director with a robust background in mine planning and technical services, currently serving at Thiess since November 2012 in several key roles, including Operations Director and Head of Technical Services Australia. Prior to Thiess, Peter Rule held the position of Short Term Mine Planning Coordinator at Barrick Gold Corporation, following the company's acquisition of Equinox Minerals. Peter Rule's extensive career also includes significant roles at Rio Tinto as Mine Planning Superintendent and Mining Engineer, and as a Mining Consultant at TIP Mining Consultants. Peter Rule holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from The University of Queensland, completed in 2005.
