Ryan Fox possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Mining Performance Manager and previously as Mining Manager at Thiess since April 2019. Prior roles include Mining Engineering Manager at Hunter Valley Operations and Superintendent Dragline, Drill and Blast at Yancoal Australia Ltd. Ryan's career began at Rio Tinto, where multiple roles were held from February 2012 to August 2017, including Senior Mining Engineer and Dragline Mining Engineer, focusing on mine planning and scheduling. Ryan began the professional journey with vacation student positions at Rio Tinto and Xstrata Coal between 2008 and 2011, alongside a solid foundation in labor from MES (Resco). Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UNSW and a Certificate IV in surface mining from TAFE NSW.
