Katy Brown

Katy Brown has had a long and varied career in the business world. Katy began their career in 2002 as a Loan Officer at River City Mortgage. In 2003, they moved to Acceptance Capital as a Corporate Trainer. In 2008, they became a Processor at Mippi. In 2010, they were promoted to Customer Relations Manager at Thin Technologies. In 2011, they were promoted again to CFO at Thin Technologies. In 2017, they became President of Defensive Reality, where they teach open hand self defense and a variety of practical defensive firearm classes. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Business Development at Thin Technologies.

Katy Brown obtained a BSA in Public Relations from Eastern Washington University between 1999 and 2002. Katy has also obtained four certifications from the NRA Certified Instructor: NRA Basic Shotgun in September 2016, NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home in June 2016, NRA Basic Rifle in June 2015, and NRA Basic Pistol in March 2015.
