Simon Dixon

Simon Dixon is the Managing Director for North and Midlands at ThinCats, where they lead business development for both sponsor and non-sponsor leveraged finance, as well as manage transactions in the North. With a varied career in banking, Simon served as Head of Leveraged Finance at HSBC UK Bank from 2014 to 2023 and held several key roles at Lloyds Bank, progressing from Credit Analyst to Director between 1999 and 2013. Simon graduated with a 2:2 in Law (LLB Hons) from the University of Nottingham in 1987. They also had a notable trial with Manchester City and scored a memorable goal while playing for a Spanish five-a-side team.
