Steven Jatz

Steven Jatz has worked in the software development industry since 2007. Theirfirst role was as a Senior Software Developer at Smarthouse Media GmbH, where they were responsible for the conception and implementation of customer-specific software solutions within a financial content management system. Steven then moved to REALTECH Software Products GmbH in 2010, where they held the roles of Head of ITIL 2 and Fachlicher Teamleiter Softwareentwicklung, with both conceptual and operational responsibility for software architecture, support, maintenance, and further development of the database layer of a Business Service Management and IT Operation Management solution according to ITIL. In 2015, they joined REALTECH AG as Director Software Development, Director Product Quality & Innovation, Director Governance, Planning & Architecture, and Entwicklungsleiter. Most recently, in 2022, Steven began working as a Developer Advocate for Thing-it.

Steven Jatz obtained their Diplom-Informatiker (FH) degree in Informatik from Hochschule Mannheim in 2005. Steven also holds an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in December 2022.
