Joseph Kay

Joseph Kay has extensive work experience in both the industry and academia. Joseph started their career in 2004 as a PhD student at the University of Washington, where they stayed until 2011. In 2012, they joined ThinGap, Inc. as an Electromagnetic Design Engineer. Joseph later moved up to the role of Director of Engineering in April 2021, where they currently work.

Joseph Kay completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1995 and 2002. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Washington and obtained both their Master of Science and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering between 2002 and 2011.
