Dirk Trauner is an advisor at Think Bioscience and a professor of chemistry and neuroscience at New York University. Dirk has also been a professor of chemical biology and chemical genetics at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, and an associate professor at UC Berkeley and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dirk Trauner's educational career began with him obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Vienna. Dirk then became an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. After that, they became a Postdoc at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the field of chemistry. Afterwards, they obtained a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and neuroscience from the University of Vienna. Finally, they became a Diplomchemiker in Chemistry from the Freie Universität Berlin.
