Ben V. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ben started their career as a Customer Service Assistant at Maggie's Restaurant, where they gained skills in customer service, teamwork, and time management. Ben then worked at Sainsbury's, where they took on various roles such as cashier, self scan operator, and general customer service.

In 2010, Ben joined the University of Portsmouth as a Motion Capture Technician. Over the years, they became the Team Lead and gained experience in animation principles and motion capture for game engines. Ben also participated in UoP GameJam events, where they developed games under time constraints.

Ben then transitioned into the field of software testing, starting with a role at Zoonou Limited as a Test Analyst, specializing in performance and accessibility testing. Ben worked with various platforms, utilized tools such as JMeter, and developed skills in bug tracking and regression testing.

At Kineo, Ben took on the role of Senior Software Test Engineer and managed quality assurance for software within the Client Services department. Ben created and executed test cases and plans, supported the team in meeting client expectations, and ensured adherence to design documentation.

After that, Ben joined Hastings Direct as a User Acceptance Tester, focusing on non-functional testing. Ben created and executed end-to-end test scripts, monitored and reported on test activities, and investigated any issues discovered during testing.

Currently, Ben is a Software QA Tester at Think Learning, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software testing.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated adaptability, technical proficiency, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality software.

Ben V. began their education by attending Sussexdowns College from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in ICT Principles. Ben then enrolled at the University of Portsmouth from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Games Technology. In March 2014, Ben V. obtained the ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from Pearson VUE.
