Gaz Logan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gaz started their career in 2012 as a Presenter, Content Creator, and Studio Manager at Radio TV Val d'Isere, where they were involved in content strategy and the rollout of Online TV and live Radio. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Digital Consultant, helping businesses pivot and achieve a robust digital strategy, conducting software/hardware training, and assisting with audiovisual procurement. In 2019, Gaz co-founded Falmouth Launchpad, an award-winning start-up incubator/accelerator, where they developed business strategy and project-managed teams. Gaz then joined the Blockchain & Climate Institute in 2021 as a Senior Instructional Designer on a part-time basis. At Falmouth University from 2020 to 2022, Gaz worked as a Learning Technologist, co-designing and building digital skills courses and creating micro-learning resources. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Learning Technologist at the Academy of Contemporary Music, focusing on pedagogical framework and co-designing new learning programs. In 2023, Gaz will join Think Learning as a Learning Technology Consultant.
Gaz Logan completed their Master of Arts degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Falmouth University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology from the same university, studying from 2016 to 2019.
In addition to their formal education, Gaz Logan has obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they became an Adobe Certified Associate in Visual effects & motion using Adobe After Effects. Later, in July 2021, they completed the certification for Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID from LinkedIn. In August 2021, they obtained the certification for Learning Design Thinking, also from LinkedIn. In August 2021, they completed the course "Building an Ethereum Blockchain App: 1 Introduction to Blockchain" from LinkedIn. Recently, in May 2022, Gaz Logan obtained two certifications: "A Guide to UK Data Protection" and "Health and Safety in Education", both from Tes.
