Hi, I'm Matt Jones. 

In 2013, I co-founded Four Pillars Gin with Cameron Mackenzie and Stuart Gregor, two men who would change my life and change the Australian gin and distilling scene in the process. 

Working together with my brilliant partner in business and life, Rebecca Bourne Jones, we built the creative brand system that complemented the gin craft at the heart of Four Pillars Gin. 

The result was being named the world's best gin business an unprecedented three times by the IWSC in London. 

In 2024, I published Lessons From Gin, my attempt to capture the repeatable lessons that could be learned by businesses of all kinds. Plus I worked with Rebecca to create a new business, Think Story Experience, a brand growth partnership focused on helping founders and leaders unlock the brand side of their own growth potential. 

I give keynote speeches, facilitate workshops and coach leaders and leadership teams to create and apply brand growth playbooks for their businesses. 

I'm building a small collective of brilliant strategic minds to help me, and I keep myself match fit by both continuing to advice Four Pillars Gin and by mentoring start-ups at Startmate and advising the City of Sydney on economic growth strategies.
