Timothy Baker

Timothy Baker has over 30 years of professional experience. Timothy began their career in 1992 as an Assistant Manager, Bartender, and Server in the Food & Beverage Industry. In 1998, they joined Torchmark Corporation as a Regional Sales Director and Corporate Trainer, where they were responsible for establishing and expanding branch locations in California, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. Timothy then moved to Ameriprise Financial in 2007 as a Marketing Field Implementation Director and Brand Ambassador, where they provided individual and group mentoring and accountability for 283 financial advisors across two states and realized a 16% increase in Assets Under Management.

In 2011, Timothy joined Bosley Medical Group as a Medical Sales Consultant and Brand Ambassador, where they provided mentoring and accountability for 283 financial advisors across two states and realized a 16% increase in Assets Under Management. In 2015, they founded Gogo Band, Inc., a SaaS and HaaS company that delivered the first ever IoT biometric wearable medical device internationally. Timothy secured $810K in venture capital funding and earned a spot with a top 25 startup accelerator.

In 2017, Timothy founded America's Ticket, an innovative SaaS communications platform that connects political candidates with constituents. In 2020, they were hired as a General Manager at Wingate by Wyndham - Richmond, Short Pump, where they provided key leadership and operational expertise to allow the hotel to remain open throughout the pandemic by revising workflows, transitioning management structures, and enhancing efficiencies. Timothy then joined Custom Select Services, LLC in 2021 as a Senior Consulting Project Manager, where they established a cross functional contract-based consulting agency focused on the Medical, Energy, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Financial Services, Recreational, and Insurance industries. Finally, in 2022, Timothy joined Think as a Senior Project Manager.

Timothy Baker has a wide range of educational experiences. Timothy obtained an Associates degree from the Naval School of Health Sciences in the field of Medical/Surgical. Timothy also holds a Licentiate degree in Finance, General from Health, Life Property & Casualty Insurance Producer Licensed. In 2007, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Series 7 Licensed. Timothy has also taken courses from Wilson Learning, Altig International, and American Income LIC in Versatile & Counselor Salesperson Development, Leadership Development Workshop, and Management Workshop respectively. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management Skills for Leaders from LinkedIn in September 2022, Developing Executive Presence from LinkedIn in June 2021, and Health, Life, and Property & Casualty Licensed from Virginia in December 1997.
