Sayoni Lahiri

Sayoni Lahiri began their work experience as a Policy Research Intern at Ek Nayi Soch in 2021. In this role, they conducted research on rural development policies of the West Bengal government and created key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure their performance. Sayoni also analyzed 64 years of women's political participation data in West Bengal to identify the main drivers. Sayoni reported and presented their findings and KPIs during this internship.

In 2022, Sayoni joined Think360.ai as an Associate Data Analyst. In this role, they preprocessed, manipulated, and cleaned data for machine learning model building in the ETC and NTC segments. Sayoni also validated models for real-time data performance evaluation. Additionally, Sayoni created Linear SVC models to classify domain-specific models for improved message classification.

Sayoni Lahiri completed their education from 2017 to 2020 at Lady Brabourne College (Calcutta University), where they obtained a B.Sc. Honours degree in Economics. Following that, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. In addition to their academic qualifications, Sayoni obtained certifications in various fields. In February 2022, they completed a certification in Econometrics with R from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics.
