Georgios Mamakis

Georgios Mamakis is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over 15 years. Currently, Georgios serves as a Principal Software Engineer at ThinkAnalytics since January 2020, following a progression from Senior Software Engineer. Previous roles include Software Expert at NAGRA, where Georgios contributed to the migration of the OpenTV platform to a cloud-based system, and System Architect at Europeana, responsible for architectural solutions and subsystem integration. Earlier experiences also include positions as Senior Software Developer at Europeana, Statistical Analyst and Technical Engineer at Galanis Sports Data, and multiple roles at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, including Laboratory Instructor and Analyst. Georgios holds a PhD in AI from the University of Glamorgan and a BEng in Applied Informatics and Multimedia from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete.
