Nelson Galvan

Nelson Galvan has over 18 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2002, they began their career as a Project Leader at INET, where they developed an e-learning platform using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JAVA, and MySQL/Oracle. In 2003, they became the Chief Technology Officer at DataFactory SRL, where they managed a team of four people dedicated to developing internal systems for data loading and distributed real time applications. In 2007, they joined Greenline Financial Technologies as a Project Manager, and then moved to VIRIDIAN S.A. in the same year, where they managed a team of 14 people dedicated to working on three projects with customers and team members distributed around the world. In 2013, they founded bitnovatech, a small dev company that develops Android and iOS applications and games. In 2014, they returned to ThinkCERCA as a Product Manager, where they designed and implemented an adjusted version of the Scrum process to assure predictability in delivery. In 2019, they joined Rachio as a Product Manager, where they implemented a development process based on scrum and planned and managed requirements for the Insights and Portal products. Finally, in 2020, they joined Moe Assist, Inc. as a Product Manager.

Nelson Galvan attended Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2001 to 2006, where they earned an Ingenierio en Sistemas de Información. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where they earned a Master of Software Engineering in Computer Science. In 2010 and 2011, they attended Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they earned a Programa de Formación para Emprendedores Profesionales in Entrepreneurship.
