Marcus B.

Marcus B. has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Marcus began their career as a Senior Designer at SapientNitro where they worked closely with the creative team on various ad campaigns. Marcus then moved on to freelance work, specializing in automotive retouching and high-end scenes for clients like Honda. Marcus also worked as a senior design and creative development contractor for FCB Global, where they collaborated with art directors and creative directors to bring ad concepts to life through design and Photoshop retouching. Marcus later joined VMLY&R as a Design Lead and Creative Retoucher, where they played a key role in bringing art direction and graphic design to life for multiple clients. Marcus also worked as a Senior Art Director at Ogilvy and as a Senior Art Director (project basis) at The Reactor. Marcus has experience as a Photoshop Educator at Future and has contributed as a photographer for Alamy. Currently, Marcus holds the position of Head of Art at Thinkerbell, where they continue to make a significant impact in the field.

Marcus B. completed their education in the field of Graphic Design. Marcus attended DIT, Dublin from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design. Before that, they pursued a course in Photography at IADT, Dun Laoghaire from 1999 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Marcus also obtained several certifications in web design, virtual and augmented reality design, design thinking, and user experience. These certifications were obtained from The Interaction Design Foundation, with distinctions, in various months of 2020. Additionally, Marcus holds a certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver, obtained in August 2005 from PADI.
