Heather Hansen is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Speech Academy, specializing in enhancing collaboration, innovation, and inclusion within multinational companies through effective communication strategies. With extensive experience as a Global Communication Specialist and a Public Speaking Coach, Heather has worked with notable organizations including Chevron, Amazon, and Mastercard. In addition to coaching, Heather is an active author, having published works such as “Unmuted” and “Powerful People Skills,” along with contributing to various publications. Heather's current role as a faculty member at NUS Business School complements ongoing projects with Thinkers50 Radar and Yoodli. As a PhD candidate in Sociolinguistics at Nanyang Technological University, Heather focuses on accent bias and linguistic inclusion, further underscoring a commitment to impactful communication in diverse environments.
