Louisa Thue

Louis Thue is the current Vice President of Data at Thinkific. Louisa has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Clir Renewables, the Vice President of Data & Analytics at PayByPhone, and the VP of Engineering, Data and IT at Bench Accounting. Prior to their work in the private sector, Thue served as the Senior Director of DataLab at Hootsuite Media Inc.

Thue has a wealth of experience in data engineering and data science, and has used this expertise to build event logging systems, data pipelines, datasets, data products, and data visualization tools. Her work has enabled product and business teams to be self-sufficient and better informed. Thue is also responsible for making real-time product usage data available through self-serve tools like interana and Tableau.

Thue's technology stack includes data pipelines (scala, python, kinesis, s3, redshift), pipeline management (Airflow, Amazon data pipeline), infrastructure (cloud [AWS], Amazon ECS [container service]), and monitoring (sensu, cloudwatch).
