Dr. Augustine E. Tornatore

Dr. Augustine E. Tornatore currently serves as a volunteer at Friends of the Gold Coast Public Library and works as an educational consultant with Thinking Maps, Inc. Previous roles include serving as Superintendent of Schools for Riverhead Central School District and Liberty Central School District, along with positions as Assistant Superintendent of Schools at Liberty Central School Office and Director of Social Studies K-12 at Newburgh Enlarged City School District. Additional experience includes administration for alternative, adult, and community programs at Baldwin Union Free School District. Dr. Tornatore holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from St. John's University, as well as multiple degrees in education and administration from The City University of New York and Stony Brook University.
