Kevin Mak

Kevin Mak has a diverse background in design and creative roles. Kevin started their career in 2006 as a Principal and Designer at Kevin Mak Design. From 2006 to 2010, they also held the position of Instructor at IAM Training, where they taught and mentored students in creative and technical skills. In 2011, they worked as a Visual and Interface Designer at Tiipz, where they focused on improving the organization's corporate visual identity and implementing design processes. In 2012, they worked as a Designer (Contract) at N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc, contributing to page designs, mobile app strategy, and user experience projects. Since 2013, Kevin has been with Thinkingbox, initially as a Senior Designer and then progressing to roles including Art Director, Design Director, and currently Creative Director.

Kevin Mak attended Capilano College University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Diploma in Studio Art, focusing on Studio Art. From 2002 to 2003, they studied at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they earned a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Design Studies in the field of Interdisciplinary Design Studies. Lastly, from 2003 to 2006, Kevin attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree in Communication Design.
