Richard Cooper

VP Sales at Thinklogical

Richard Cooper has a diverse work experience in the sales field. Richard started their career in 1987 as a Sales Director for Robotic Camera Systems at Vinten Broadcast. Richard then worked as a Director of Broadcast Sales at A. F. Associates from 1990 to 1995. In 1995, Cooper joined Tekniche as the Director of Broadcast Sales, where they managed sales to broadcast clients in the USA. Richard moved on to Leitch Technology in 1998, working in New Business Development for the Telco sector. From 1999 to 2003, Cooper held the position of Sales Director for the Eastern Region at Teranex Systems. Richard then joined Harris BCD in 2003 as the Director of Key Accounts, and later became the VP of Channels Management for North America. In this role, they managed sales to resellers, systems integrators, and value-added resellers, leading a team of Regional Channel Managers and achieving significant sales growth. In 2011, Cooper joined Thinklogical, a Belden Brand, initially as the Director of Sales, and then promoted to VP of Sales for the US Commercial and Canada, responsible for the development and manufacturing of fiber optic KVM solutions. In 2017, they became the VP of Sales for Thinklogical.

Richard Cooper has a background in Computer Science. Richard attended Bedford University where they studied Computer Science. In addition to their education, they have obtained certifications in Aspire Management Training and Miller Heiman - Strategic Selling from the Miller Heiman Group.
