Pete Mooney

Pete retired as a Deloitte senior principal in 2017 after a successful thirty-five year career with the firm. He is a strategy consultant by background and has led a number of the firm’s most significant client relationships and cross-functional areas of practice globally.

Pete has worked almost exclusively in life sciences and health care for the last fifteen years, segueing into the industry though his work restructuring European process manufacturers in the mid-1990s. He was most recently Deloitte’s Global Managing Director for Life Sciences & Healthcare, growing the business over 35% to USD 2.5 billion in revenue during his tenure.

He has lived and worked outside of the U.S. for over 20 years, leading the firm’s European Manufacturing & Life Sciences industry practice and as CEO of the Netherlands consulting business, among other roles and client service. Pete has developed relationships with a broad range of senior executives and expertise in diverse developing markets such as Argentina, Brazil, China, and India, as well as Europe and America.
