Craig Mclellan

As the Chief Executive Officer of ThinkOn, Craig McLellan is a forward-thinking business leader who has been at the forefront of technology innovation and data security in Canada and the U.S. for the past twenty-five years. Under Craig’s leadership, ThinkOn has grown both organically and through strategic acquisition, ranking multiple years on the Growth 500 list of fastest growing companies in Canada list. As a pioneer for cloud, his organization was one of the first companies in the world to receive VMware Cloud Verified certification, and Craig currently sits on several industry advisory boards including Veeam, Hitachi and VMware, where he helps to guide strategy. Craig is also a passionate advocate for Innovate Cities – a first-of-its-kind, cloud-based Community Hub that promotes Smart City innovation.

While there are three companies authorized to service the federal government for protected workloads, ThinkOn is proud to be the only Canadian company with this coveted designation.

A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Craig is a sought-after speaker on security, data privacy and cloud migration design for High Availability (HA) applications.

When he’s not growing ThinkOn, Craig enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his family, either in the city or at the cottage.
