Mark Riden

Mark has 30+ years senior management experience primarily in the financial securities industry, with technical knowledge and expertise in assisting growth, especially for investment industry operations, financial controls and analysis, compliance procedures, and strategic planning. He has a track record of creating long term, quality results in companies. His specialty is process improvement, workflow re-engineering and systems implementation.

Prior to joining ThinkOn, Mark was consulting through Riden & Associates, providing management consulting specific to asset managers and other financial service industry clients. He specialized in the enhancement, development, and implementation of solutions to improve the effectiveness of his client’s accounting, operations and treasury functions. His focus was continuous improvement planning including measuring risk, efficiency of current procedures, making recommendations and implementing change through direct project management, best practices, and data management system solutions.

Mark is a CPA, Chartered Accountant, a graduate of University of Toronto and attended the Columbia Senior Executive Programme at Columbia Business School in New York. He is a long-time member and chair of various committees in the financial industry and active in charitable organizations, like JDRF.
