Chann Austine Cortes

Chann Austine Cortes is an Analyst at ThinkTek since August 2023, bringing a diverse range of experience in program assistance and research. Previously, Chann served as a Program Assistant III at the Foreign Service Institute, supporting training programs and webinars. Chann's earlier roles include Research Intern at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, where responsibilities involved data entry and research on electoral management, and Research Assistant at the Eurasia Center, focusing on political developments in Europe. Chann also gained public affairs expertise as an intern at Interel, contributed to the political discourse as a Political Intern at Stand Up Republic, and cultivated leadership skills through various roles at American University, including Crisis Manager and Director of Operations. Chann holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from American University and has participated in a study abroad program focused on the EU.
