Darren Chew

Darren Chew has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Darren began their career as an Intern at Goodwood Park Hotel, where they served the President during the Presidential Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Istana 2011 and served Lee Hsien Loong during the F1 2011. Darren also assisted with menu planning for buffets and other catering needs. In 2014, they moved to NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd as an Administrative Assistant. In 2017, they joined Citco Fund Services Singapore as a Fund Accountant and was later promoted to Senior Fund Accountant and Team Supervisor. Darren managed a small team of junior accountants and was responsible for NAVs for Hedge Funds / Hybrid Funds, streamlining the team's NAV process, and assisting with team administration issues. In 2021, they began working as a Business Analyst at ThinkVAL.

Darren Chew completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from Curtin Singapore from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Business/Commerce, General from Curtin College from 2013 to 2014. In 2021, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Australia. In 2017, they obtained the CFA Foundation certification from CFA Institute.
