Yaroslav Klichko

Yaroslav Klichko is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in materials science and chemistry. Currently serving as the New Product Development Lead at Thintronics® since December 2021, Klichko has previously held roles such as Senior Battery Polymer Scientist at ionobell, where work focused on silicon-based anodes for lithium-ion batteries, and Senior Scientist at Madico, Inc., where efforts were directed toward the development and enhancement of products. Klichko also served as Founding President of Smeka Scientific, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center, specializing in coatings and materials for bio- and chemical threat mitigation. Klichko's postdoctoral work at MIT included advancements in environmental remediation methods, and early research at UCLA involved the development of functional materials and micropatterning techniques. Klichko holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from UCLA and a BS in Chemistry from Southern Methodist University.
