Ed Castillo has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as Chief Strategy Officer at THIRD EAR since September 2021. (BDI) from 2018, where they worked directly with founders, marketers, lobbyists, and governments to execute market research and messaging strategies. Additionally, they were the Global Chief Strategy Officer at Arnold Worldwide from 2016 to 2018, overseeing business strategy, brand strategy, and digital strategy for multiple brands. Before that, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York from 2012 to 2016, leading strategy for various clients. Ed also held roles as SVP, Integrated Strategy Director at McCann Worldgroup from 2011 to 2012, SVP, Director of Account Planning at PHD Media from 2006 to 2011, and Planning Director at North from 2005 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they served as Director of Account Planning at R&R Partners from 2002 to 2005, and as Director at Applied Research & Consulting from 1998 to 2002. Ed began their career as an Account Executive at Leo Burnett, USA from 1994 to 1997.
Ed Castillo attended University High School from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a high school diploma. Following this, they pursued higher education at Amherst College from 1990 to 1994, earning an AB cum laude degree in philosophy and psychology.
