Ted Tyson has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development. In 1997, they began their career as Division Director for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) in the New England area. In 2001, they became the Director of Sales for Software Secure, Inc., where they were the first sales hire and grew the client base from zero to 160 customers. In 2006, they moved to ProQuest as an Account Executive in the Atlantic Region, where they maintained and grew an annual revenue of $4+M from the east coast territory. From 2013 to present, they have been the Director of North American Sales for Third Iron, where they are responsible for hundreds of accounts including 40+ ARL academic libraries, Federal institutions, and Fortune 500 companies.
Ted Tyson attended Wake Forest University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government.
