Miela Mayer

Miela Mayer serves as a Venture Partner and founding member of the Climate Credit Platform at Third Sphere, focusing on flexible credit and equity alternatives for climate hardware solutions, since May 2022. Previously, Miela was a Climate Tech VC Fellow at the earliest stage climate impact solutions organization, formerly known as Urban Us, which is recognized as the top early-stage climate fund in North America. Miela's prior experience includes roles as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, an Investment Analyst for the Carbon Offsets Project at Yale Investments Office, a Clean Energy Investment & Portfolio Management Summer Analyst at NY Green Bank, and a Renewable Energy Analyst at BloombergNEF. Early career involvement includes project management in agriculture at Yale West Campus Farm and paleoclimate research at Yale's Geology & Geophysics Department. Miela holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Yale University, where participation in the Energy Studies Program and Yale Climate and Energy Institute was completed.
