Masa Iwama

Masa Iwama has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Masa began their career in 1999 as a Network Administrator at Commonwealth Central Credit Union. In 2000, they moved to ISE Labs as an IT Specialist, where they initiated a drive towards a paperless solution and supported an enterprise migration from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000. In 2004, they joined San Jose Mercury News as an Advertising Systems Analyst. In 2011, they co-founded 1AmigoSoft. In 2014, they joined SonicWall as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where they were responsible for IT Cloud Services, AWS migration, creation of production environments in Docker Swarm, automation of upgrades in the environments via Ansible/Salt, and deployment of new AWS environments via Terraform/Terragrunt. In 2021, they joined Third Wave Automation as an IT Infrastructure Manager.

Masa Iwama graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1999 with a degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations. In 2021, Masa obtained a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera.
