Trevor Decker

Trevor Decker has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering, robotics, and teaching. Trevor began their career in 2009 as a Computer Technician at City Charter High School. In 2011, they worked as a Robotics Camp Counselor at Sarah Heinz House and as a Teaching Assistant for 16-311 (Introduction to Robotics) and Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2014, they worked as a Volkswagen Group of America Electronics Research Laboratory. In 2015, they worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon. In 2016, they worked as an Engineer at Apple. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Calibration and Lane Estimation Tech Lead and Senior Robotics Engineer at Embark Trucks. Trevor currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at Third Wave Automation.

Trevor Decker obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011-2015. Trevor then went on to earn their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015-2016. In addition, they obtained a Microsoft Office Master 2003/2007 certification in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook from Microsoft in March 2010.
