Matt Cooksley is a strategic Board adviser and venture builder with over 15 years of experience in strategy, particularly at the intersection of private equity, venture capital, and technology. Currently self-employed as a Strategic Board Adviser and Chair, they advise CEOs and business leaders, helping them develop actionable strategies for growth and successful exits. Previously, as Managing Director at makepositive, they led the company to a tenfold increase in headcount and twentyfold revenue growth before its acquisition by Sabio in 2021. Matt served as a Partner at Cairneagle Associates, where they provided strategic guidance to CEOs and private equity firms, and has held advisory roles in various innovative tech companies. They hold degrees from the University of Cambridge and London Business School.
